    well, easy:

    Devon got gifted.

    Lucas got robbed.

thats the difference. its not like a robbery is something bigger than a gift. robbed is robbed.

mattyhse clearly won 5 rounds where you say to yourself i can see no possible way to score that round for the other guy

alexander clearly won 1 round where you say to yourself i can see no way to score that round for the other guy

4 of the rounds were somewhat close even though i believe mattyhse had the edge in a couple

if you give all 4 of those somewhat close rounds to alexander he still loses

Thought Matthysse won 5 rounds. It was close. Closer than the Macklin/Sturm fight I think.

i would call it a robbery just because this has happened with alexander in st. louis before and pretty much everyone knew going in that matthysse could only win by knockout

And although I scored it 95-94 for Mathysse....this fight in no-way was a Robbery. People used the word "Robbery" so much...and most times it's only used when the fighter they DON'T LIKE wins...that doesn't make it a Robbery.
              Completley agree with this post.

Yeah right, this will go on for a couple of more days until the Wlad-Haye fight gets more hype this week.
Its was much closer then that imo 96-93 seemed fair,Mattheyse won but Devon took a few rds.

Highway robbery. Lucas landed more punches, harder punches and knocked that bum down. How the **** was that not obvious?

                    The better man lost.

Doesn't matter what you call it - decisions like these are hurting boxing.

Matthysse won this fight. I actually feel kind of bad for the guy, he's now lost two close SDs against fighters in their hometowns (well, almost for Judah at least) in fights where I had him winning both.

Alexander on the other hand, has now gotten his second gift. That all judges scored the Kotelnik-fight 116-112 was a joke, this was too.

This fight confirmed to me that Alexander will never be great, which I was pretty sure of after the Kotelnik and Bradley fights, but now I'm certain.
