Frankly I'm tired of explaining this after every close fight buuuut...
This fight could very easily have been scored for Alexander. Mathysse only won 3 rounds clearly in the fight. Alexander had about 5 clear rounds won early in the fight.
That leaves two pretty close debatable rounds.
If you gave em both to Mathysse... he wins.
You give one to Alexander... he wins.
Not difficult. People who are new to boxing or have no idea what the **** they are watching tend to judge a fights outcome based on the last 3 rounds of the fight.
It's typical of the people on this site and it's frustrating
