He said on his feed that he had Devon 1 round up going into the 10th, then he said he scored the 10th for Lucas but says he scored the fight 95-94 for Devon.

Very easily could have been scored that way for Alexander. Mathysse only won 3 rounds clearly in the fight. Alexander had about 5 clear rounds won early in the fight.

That leaves two pretty close debatable rounds.

If you gave em both to Mathysse... he wins.

You give one to Alexander... he wins.

Not difficult. People who are new to boxing/have no idea what the **** they are watching tend to judge a fights outcome based on the last 3 rounds of the fight.

Would be interested to see your round by round analysis of this fight. I scored the fight 96-93 for Matthysse(6-4[One 10-8 rd]). I could see 95-94 for Matthysse but there's just no way I can see Alexander winning.

You're right, they don't.

What DOES make me holier then the rest of you is that I use logic and unbiased common sense when I score fights.

Off the top of my head (and having seen it only once obviously) I would probably give Mathysse the 4th, the 6th 7th and 8th, and the 10th.

In other words, I would probably give the fight to Mathysse. However, the 10th round happened to be extremely close (probably 10-10 would be the fairest score) as was the 6th i believe.

Not to mention the fact that Alexander won every second of the 4th round other then the 2 or 3 he spent on the canvas.

So do I think Mathysse won? Yea, I think he mighta edged it out. But I find myself on here after EVERY SINGLE CLOSE FIGHT defending the guy people believe got a gift decision because of scoring INCOMPETENCE. People CONSTANTLY favor the puncher in these cases and ALWAYS say the guy who came on late won the fight.

Look back throughout the sites history and give me ONE example where a close fight wasn't called a robbery a billion times and the people favored the guy who won the last few rounds.

Again, if you scored the fight for Mathysse that doesnt make you wrong or an idiot. I happen to agree with you. But to say this was a robbery is the most frustrating **** and you hear CONSTANTLY on here!!!!!!!!
