to be honest and not to hate on the young fighter because the dude has a damn good chin, I don't think anybody else in that 140 division can take those punches that he took today and only go down once

But...First thing First...HE NEEDS A NEW TRAINER...not a physical trainer because the dude is in PHENOMENAL SHAPE but he needs a REAL BOXING TRAINER, I know he will be loyal to Kevin Cunningham but maybe do like Judah and bring in someone like Pernell Whitaker to help you with the other stuff that Cunningham don't know

So I think he probably should go back to the drawing board with a new trainer, get in maybe 1-2 easier fights and trying some NEW THINGS and NEW STYLES against Lower Competition...THEN come back up and go after the Top Fighters in his Division

i agree ,stylistically maidana could be worse for devon

lucas is a more compact puncher than maidana who will invest to the body as well

however maidana is primarily a headhunter and i can see devon being open for maidana's looping shots and uppercuts , plus maidana just keeps on coming forward even when he's low on steam

i think cayo/peterson winner. this was a hard fight for him, going against maidana or guerrero would not be such a good idea right now.
