Devon showed much more heart tonight than the previous two fights

He didn't show very much against Kotelnik and he basically quit against Timmy, but I was impressed by what I saw tonight. He cane back after getting dropped to win two rounds, then after getting beaten up r two more rounds he came strong in the 9th. This is how I scored it:

    Round 1: 10-9 Devon
    Round 2: 10-9 Devon
    Round 3: 10-9 Devon
    Round 4: 10-8 Lucas
    Round 5: 10-9 Devon
    Round 6: 10-9 Devon
    Round 7: 10-9 Lucas
    Round 8: 10-9 Lucas
    Round 9: 10-9 Devon
    Round 10: 10-9 Lucas

^Edited for the idiots who can't match up numbers lol

95-94 Alexander. No robbery this time. That second wind he got in round 9 won the fight for him. I'd like to see either one in the ring with Lamont Pererson assuming he gets by Cayo.

When you agree to fight someone on their home turf you run the risk of losing a decision if you can't put the guy away. That is a part of boxing. If it was on a neutral site it probably would have been an easy win for Matthysse.

I agree with the thread starter saying that Devon showed more heart in this fight than the Bradley one for sure, but he still needs to improve a lot more to be able to win decisively against any of the top names in the 140 lbs. class.

No thanks, I'll pass on that offer lol

Care to explain which rounds I was wrong on? Devon CLEARLY took the first 3, and I think he came back and did enough after Matthysse's rally in the fourth and eighth to steal three more rounds. He beat him at his own game in the 9th.

Look at the order of the numbers you ignorant f**k. The fourth numbers each match up to 10-8. I'll edit the post for decelerated people like you who can't use common sense lol

How did he lose round 9? Even the people who were rooting for Lucas on Twitter gave Devon that round. HBO and Dan Rafael also did. He came back nicely that round.

I'm not a fan of either of them. Just glad it was an exciting fight and Devon definitely impressed with his chin and heart tonight which everybody was questioning.

Don't think he should have won though.
