that was a vey bad decision how did devon alexander won ,he didnt land clean punches he was just throwing crazy soft punches and saying haha haha like he was doing something, mathysse really beat him up completely in every aspect of the fight everybody that saw this fight knows that mathysse won the fight without a doubt easily.

Hometown Decision Yet Again. Matthysse must feel like Like a Stop n GO Clerk because he keeps getting Robbed on Saturday night. Unfortunately i had a feeling this would happen and thought Lucas would have to get the KO. Devon is a decent fighter but did too much running and Jabbing for me to justify Two of the Judges idiotic Scorecards. Also Roy Jones Jr is as biased as they Come for Black Fighters and needs to be taken off the Air. He really adds nothing to the Fight Commentary other than State how much he Admires other Black Men. HBO please get Antonio Tarver already and End Roys miserable Commentating Career.

Decision was controversial no doubt and will look so given the connect numbers, but matthyse did outland alexander by like 20 in round 7 or 8. Im not gonna say its robbery because most of the dudes crying robbery hate devon anyway. It was honestly a close fight either way but mad props to Devon, he showed heart and a good chin, i liked what he did in the early rounds though but his defense needs work, hands sink low in late rounds.

Lucas is a beast, he did more damage for sure.

Yes but in the first round Devon only landed on Mathisse's gloves; effective aggression, ring generalship, defense and body punching were in favor of Lucas.

Lucas had 2 dominating rounds, out worked him in the 10th and the knockdown in the 4th, a round devon outworked him. It all weighs on the first round, Devon outworked Lucas, lederman scored for body punching. There is too much hate for devon, so you believe he lost and cried. It was a good close fight

Agreed, I think it comes down to how you score the first round, which could have gone either way, but I think people still have a right to be pissed off. A score of 97-93 for Alexander shows a clear bias on at least one of the judges' scorecards. And that's not mentioning that the fight was held in St. Louis after such a controversial hometown win against Kotelnik (which I thought was a much clearer robbery).

Its a disgraceful decision and if there's any justice a rematch is made 12 rounds and not in Devon's Home F ucking town.
