Family Arena, St. Charles, MO. - IBF junior middleweight champion Cornelius "K9" Bundrage (31-4) avenged his May 2005 defeat to Sechew Powell (26-3). The scores were 115-113, 119-109 and 117-111. Powell won the first fight via TKO in the first round in a fight that featured a rare double knockout. Tempers flared at the pre-fight weigh-in for the rematch as both fighters were jawing at each other. The fight was sloppy with a lot of holding, pushing and clinching and both fighters hardly through any jabs as they loaded up on almost all of their shots. Bundrage landed more punches and was the aggressor while Powell landed the heavier shots as Bundrage had considerable swelling under his right eye.
