How underrated is Antonio Margarito?

He won the WBO belt against Antonio Diaz in an old-fashioned Mexican slugfest in 2002 and since then has destroyed just about everyone in his path.

Beat Kermit Cintron x2, Joshua Clottey, Miguel Cotto. Lost via hometown decision against Daniel Santos in a weight class above his prime weight.

Barely lost his title to Paul Williams by a round, maybe two but it was Tony who landed the harder shots and hurt Paul a couple of times. Paul missed a ton of punches and never hurt Tony.

So since 2002, the only fighters to truly get the best of him have been Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley. And this was when Tony was declining.

Not bad for a "one-dimensional, skill-less bum".
