Comments Thread For: Ricky Hatton: David Haye is Going To Shock Everyone

Former two division champion Ricky Hatton doesn't expect WBA heavyweight champion David Haye to retire in October. In the weeks leading up to his July 2 unification with WBO/IBO/IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko, Haye has promised to retire from the sport of boxing. The Manchester star had recently retired himself, and says it's very hard to walk away when there are other things left to accomplish. Hatton is very confident about Haye's chances to pull off a dominating performance against Klitschko.

Does Ricky still weigh more than Haye?

Hatton needs to get on that year long weight loss show on TV.

Transform yourself into only 1 Ricky Hatton.

Hatton to Haye: "jab jab clinch, same move every time."

Bet your house on Haye. He's got this by a country mile!

He doesn't promote Haye though... The way you try to discredit his opinion can be done to any and every one who ever made several fight picks on different fights.

everyone doggin on haye i think hes the best test wlad has faced ever in his career just shows how weak the division is wlad is the fave to bore out a points win or a late k.o thats the most likely outcome but hayes raw power and great speed gives him a atleast a 60/40 outcome and 60.40 more dan always worth a punt

Theres 2 likely scenarios. If Haye loses i dont think anyone will care if he retires. But if he beats Wlad, he must fight Vitali. He needs to fight Vitali in Madison Square garden for his legacy.

If he dont fight Vitali, i will go looking for Haye. I know where haye is down in vauxhall next door to me.
