floyd never beaten, took the test, gave duckqiao 3 leftovers.
duckqiao will be remembered as ; the coward who said no to the test
who blamed his shoes for his loss, who blamed the blood test for his loss, who filed a lawsuit, the coward who went down because of a body jab,the coward will be remember as the CATCH WEIGHT KING

He will be remembered as one of the best defensive technicians to ever do it as he should be because love him or hate him his defense was pretty beastly. But how great he is remembered comes down to final moves he makes in his career. Even though all events leading up to this point make you think the fight never happens I have a hard time thinking Floyd won't finally realize one day he can cash out and retire after a Pacqiuao fight and just do it as long as he gets past Ortiz which he should.Comment

After Ortiz, if he goes on to fight Khan instead of Pac, and then Alvarez for his 154 WBC belt instead of Martinez it will be 3 divisions, 140, 147, 154, where he cherry picked largely outmatched opponents and avoided the best guys who would pose him the most problems. Not hard to see it's been a systematic selective process by him.
The big fights he did take he did so only when he had all the advantages - Hatton at 147, Marquez not honoring the catchweight and outweighing by him 15+lbs, 39 year old Mosley coming off a near 2 year layoff.
His resume is piss poor above 135. He needs to fight Pac pure and simple, that would make up somewhat for not fighting the likes of Tszyu, Cotto, Margarito, Paul Williams to fight the much less skilled tailor made for him guys like Gatti, Baldomir, Ortiz.Last edited by Fighting Pride; 06-26-2011, 02:44 AM.Comment

Isnt Martinez the 160lb champ? So to not fight the MW champ as a ww is a duck?
