I find it annoying and lets face the facts. He is not the best heavyweight because he put on a valiant effort against Lennox Lewis. Look at the names on his record:

Find another name worth note on his record, then tell me he is a better fighter than his little brother. I might have posted this too many times....but it is getting really annoying how he is generally regarded as the "best heavyweight"

Vitali < Wladimir enough said. And its really annoying how people think he is the man to beat simply because of his outing against Lennox Lewis. The same out of shape Lewis would have had serious trouble with the better fighter in Wlad.

theres different kinds of stoppages though, and you must realize that.
in both cases of vitali's stoppages, he was winning the fights.
wlad was just getting beat up.
even when wlad wins, he does it sloppily.
just look at his last fight as evidence of that

Look, Vitali is "the best" because he has a chin of granite and power to match, and he's intelligent in the ring and has a slugger side to him as we saw in the Lennox fight.

If Peter had boxing skills, then he would be unstopable.
Vitali is something like Peter, with a big head and boxing ability.

No one can outbox him, no one can KO him from the current competition, so he is "the best".

If Wlad regained his full confidence, and I mean full, no fear, like the killer he was before he would be the best, but he needs a few more fights to settle in and then show everybody what he is really made of.

As of now, Vitali is the best, period.
