His power is never in question. And oh, I remember when almost all here said that Berto is bum, an HBO product ect. And now that Victor beat him, Berto all of a sudden is the door to become the no. 1 WW.Comment

While some might be making these claims, I'm not one of them. I like the kid, so I root for him. I might even like him more than Bradley and Khan. But the fact of the matter is that I'd pick Bradley over him and would have a tough time picking him over Khan. (At 147, I would probably be inclined to say Ortiz has the power and speed to stop him, but it's tough.)
Still, most aren't making the case that he's better. They might like him more, but they are going off of hype. Not necessarily bad hype Just hype. He's coming off a big underdog win in the biggest fight of his career. Fight Of The Year candidate. Now, he's facing one of the best fighters in the world and it will be a hugely promoted fight. He's bound to get more attention and people will make cases that they might not otherwise make.
Still, only one way to find out who's the best of the three. Let's hope we see it.Comment

I never understood that. It was clear that Berto had not even been tested prior to the Ortiz fight, it was only because of a belt that certain individuals rated him so highly.Comment

The only advantage Ortiz have at the moment is the fact that he looks big, strong and motivated at 147, Could Khan or Bradley do to Berto what Ortiz did to him while coming from 140? Ortiz look suited to 147 even when he was struggling at 140 while Khan and Bradley look like they can fight their for another 2-3 years.Comment
