The mexican boxer Humberto 'Zorrita' Soto, WBC lightweight champion, mentioned that he will try to get a fourth world championship in different weight classes, and then he'll retire from boxing.

"I've been a professional boxer for 14 years and I'm tired of all the hard training. I'm going to fight in September, December, March and June, and then I'll retire from boxing" mentioned the boxer born in Los Mochis, Sinaloa.

Soto will make this saturday his fourth title defence against the japanese Motoki Sasaki, in the main fight of the night from the event "Kamikazes en Cozumel".

"I've been a world champion in the featherweight, superfeatherweight and lightweight divisions, so now I'm going for a championship in the superlightweight division or even in welterweight, and then I'm going to retire after four more fights" Soto said.

He also mentioned that he will try to get millionaire fights before retiring "There are some good rivals such as Jorge Linares, Erik Morales, or Marco Barrera, guys who would make a good purse"

About his fight against Sasaki, he mentioned that his strategy will be to fight the way the rival is going to fight "If he wants to box, then I'll outbox him, but if he wants to brawl, then I'll also brawl" he mentioned.

Desert Storm vs Zorrita at 140 for the WBC and WBO titles!

If he does that, I'll gain back all the respect I lost for him after he ducked Peterson and Rios.

so much for his legacy, smh and he would be going for a 3rd title since he only had an interim one at featherweight. He had so much potential and probably could have made more money if he stopped fighting weaker opposition.

      very disappointing.
