YOu clearly have never seen another one of Peter's fight. Peter was extremely tired in the Wlad fight and could not throw combinations because he was entirely too tired.

All you people can do is complain about rabbit punches, complain about rabbit punches... but the moment we mention clinching or Peter does he's a complainer. You can't have it both ways.

You also clearly know nothing about boxing if you thik Wlad should have been aggresive on the inside. Peter would have take a step back and clocked Wlad with power shots strong enough to literally take his head back.

Why couldn't he throw combinations for the first 4 rounds? Surely he couldn't been tired by than?

He throws combinations normally when he has his opponents cornered. He couldn't because Wlad was smart by staying out of his range and holding on the inside. It's not as though he's a flurrier, so don't expect combinations like that.

Hahahaha, you can't honestly believe that? Peter is going down due to exaustion as much as Wlad's punches. No way, shape, or form he gets KO'd inside of 6 unless he's shot first. In a rematch, if one occurs, Peter will be better trained and Wlad wont be able to lay back and jab in the later rounds because Peter will be able to throw combinations still instead of 1 punch at a time.

The benefits of throwing combinations rather than one punch at a time is something boxers learn in their first month in the gym. It is not like Peter just never thought of it in the fight, it was that he wasn't quick/skilled enough to do it. That won't change in the rematch.

That being said, if Peter had a minute left in the round after the last knockdown, Wlad would have been finished. The first couple of knockdowns were due to wrestling/back of the head punching, but he was seriously hurt after that third knockdown. His legs buckled and everything.

Just one more comment about this quote. This is the exact same type of reasoning that goes into people thinking that Mike Tyson stopped throwing combinations in big fights because he didn't have Kevin Rooney to tell him to. The simple truth is it is a hell of a lot tougher to get combinations off when you have an opponent who presents a counter punching threat and is landing on you.
