Chris Byrd is a true champion and he is a model of how a champion should act.

This is horrible news. Kassim Ouma had the same bug during his last fight. It seems to attack people who are not prepared for big challenges. I hear a lot of college students with drinking problems get it right before Calculus exams.Comment

Sam Peter who was a rookie and sick

...The only thing I regret about that fight is that Wlad didn't push the action and knock his ass out. In a rematch Wlad would KO Peter inside of 6.Comment

Hahahaha, you can't honestly believe that? Peter is going down due to exaustion as much as Wlad's punches. No way, shape, or form he gets KO'd inside of 6 unless he's shot first. In a rematch, if one occurs, Peter will be better trained and Wlad wont be able to lay back and jab in the later rounds because Peter will be able to throw combinations still instead of 1 punch at a time.Originally posted by pbds...The only thing I regret about that fight is that Wlad didn't push the action and knock his ass out. ...Wlad never sat down on his punches because he didn't want to leave himself open. He now knows he can handle Peter's power and Peter knows that Wlad can hurt him. I was dead serious. Peter thought himself invincible and know he knows he isn't. If Wlad hurt him again he would go for the kill.Comment

I don't think you can say Wlad can handle Peter's power. Peter knocked him down 3 times, and was gassed after the 6th round. If Peter is conditioned a little better, Wlad stands no chance. If Wlad tries to go for the kill, he'll leave himself open since Peter's chin seems very solid. In the late rounds, Peter will be susceptible to a KO, but so is Wlad, so it becomes a moot point. Wlad had simply better hope there will be no rematch.Originally posted by pbds...Wlad never sat down on his punches because he didn't want to leave himself open.
