lol, I dont see how Tarver owns Roy.
Roy beat Tarver on their first match fair and square, and hell he wasn't even in his prime. I would agrre with you if Roy lost all 3 times but he didn't, the fact that Tarver lost to an over-the-hill Roy proves Roy could beat him if he was in his prime.

Did you ever see the ESPN polls, Tarver won the Polls. With over 50,000 people voting.

I still will always believe a prime Jones would knock out a prime Tarver. Not to take anything away from Tarver, he's a really good fighter, definitely the best light heavyweight. And I understand his anger at not being given his proper credit.

That being said, he was definitely winded toward the end of the fight, which is probably the only thing that kept him from finishing Jones off.

i did say tarver would win this fight. but, i wasn't surprised about how many people had written tarver off. some people think with their hearts, and not their heads.

tarver won the first fight in my opinion. but when i watched it a couple of more times, it became more and more of a draw to me. either way, neither of them had clearly won. hence, a rematch was needed.

and didn't roy himself say that a prime rjj would have problems with tarver?

oh, here i found the quote:

"tarver would've given me all i could handle in my best days as a light heavyweight."
