I'm gonna take a guess here and say k9 is trying to pull a a quick last minute move and demand more money. I could be wrong but fighters do it all the time.

I know promoters who have told me they have had fighters come the day of the fight and tell them right before the fight starts that they won't fight until another check is cut.

Can't say I blame K-9. His fight isn't even being televised and he probably feels slighted by that. Don King is still probably pissed he beat the hell out of Cory Spinks so he's trying to stick it to K-9 by not televising his fight. So, K-9 is acting accordingly.

Probably got booked. I wouldnt be suprised if judges cards were already made like the Kotelnik-Alexander fight, and the undercard, Both had exact same scores for both fights iirc.
