what has wlad improved on since corrie sanders fight?

Slowly Wlad has improved, it appears. In what way? What made him so suscepable to being koed in his earlier career?

Also if the WLad of now fought the corrie saunders of 2003/04, what would be the outcome?

After KOs like that, fighters usually take on a more defensive style, and that's what wlad has done. He has improved his defense tremendously, and thus, has become an even more boring fghter.

He became more of a defensive boxer. I remember back when he got his ass spanked by Brewster in a come back of a life time and he blamed it on "poison water". Lol. Hopefully if he loses, he doesn't make any excuses.

        Better denfesively
        Doesn't get into slugfests
        He boxes with more intelligence
Knows what to do when hurt instead of swinging for the fences
        Take fewer risks
More in control of his fights
Uses his long reach and height to his advantage

He's vastly improved. And some criticize Wlad for his boring style, but I feel he has no choice to fight the way he does. It's boring but intelligent.

Right. Of course. How insensitive of Wlad to try to avoid being punched in the face! The nerve! How dare he fight intelligently and evasively so as to avoid becoming a drooling, shaking mess in his sixties!

              Screw safety!

I would definately say more cautious and more defensive. You have to think more about defense when you are knocked out like that.

But when you see his knockout against Sanders at normal speed and the normal camera angle you cant really see the shot that knocked him out. But when it is slowed down and from another angle you see the great shot that knocked him out and it was full blown on the chin. So the fact that Wlad was ko'ed doesnt seem so bad. Even James Toney would have fell to that punch probably.

And the punch came when Wlad was real offensive trying to hammer sanders.
