    Manny/Morales II vs Mayweather/Judah

Mayweather Jr. gets slack for moving ahead with a fight with Judah even after Judah lost to Baldomir. Judah was expected to win the tuneup and be THE formidable opponent for Mayweather as the undisputed welterweight champion. There was still money to be made and intrigue vs a fast, young, talented southpaw with pop in Judah. So he went that route since a lot was probably already setup and agreed upon for that fight before eventually facing Baldomir for the lineal weltweight championship (DLH/Tito>Mosley>Forrest>Mayorga>Spinks>Judah>Baldomir>Mayweather)

In Manny's case, Morales lost to Zahir, yet Manny still went for the loser, Morales because like Floyd/Judah, there was still money to be made, intrigue in the fight vs Morales who had beaten him and things were probably already in place/agreement for the rematch. Yet Manny and Raheem didn't fight. It would have been said that Mayweather was ducking the fast southpaw Judah for a slow (but strong) Baldomir.

Mayweather gets slack for moving ahead with the originally planned fight that was all but setup, but when I think about it, the same thing happened with Manny vs Morales.

Manny gets less slack because Morales had beaten him the year before, which was why Pacquiao wanted the rematch.

Morales-Pac II was intruiging because of their first fight, but Pac should have fought Raheem after he beat Morales, For me Morales was done and there was no need for a 3rd fight.

No need for Manny to fight Zahir. Contracts with Morales was already signed. Besides, why match a fighter on hi way to super stardom against a lightly rated fighter who stylistically would make Manny look bad. That's just bad business and Manny was right to not fight Raheem.

cause Morales beat him the first time, didn't need a third fight though.
