Comments Thread For: Roach Sends a Message: Khan Will Blow Judah Away!

Trainer Freddie Roach is not expecting a long fight when Amir Khan (25-1, 17 KOs) faces Zab Judah (41-6, 28 KOs) in a junior welterweight unification bout on July 23 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Judah is the most experienced opponent of Khan's career and a two division champion, but Roach expects Khan to put on one of the best performances of his career by stopping Judah in the early rounds of the fight.

Too bad Roach isn't a great defensive minded trainer. Khan wanting to be too much like Pac with those jump in flurries is going to get him knocked out by Zab. Check Hook!!!

5 punch combo by Khan in 1.2 sec and it's all over for Zab.

We shall see my man. It'll be Zab who does the knocking out in that fight.

Then confirm our bet or are you having doubts about Zab?

Shane's career was over long before he signed on to fight Pacquiao .

Asked on Sunday if he'd read the less-than-glowing reports of the controversial draw, Arum gave little reason to expect a Mosley-Pacquiao showdown.

"I did and I read them saying Mosley was huffing and puffing for air in the fourth or fifth round," Arum said. "To me, that is the real tipoff for an aging fighter. Even Big George Foreman did that in his 40s but he always had that big, big punch like in the (Michael) Moorer fight."

"I guess Shane needs the money due to his matrimonial sitaution (a divorce under harsh California community property rules)," Arum said. "I've always considered Shane to be a nice guy but this is what happens to fighters when they age.
