Hopefully Martinez will sign with a promoter who can get him some fights on tv because he is an action fighter who comes to fight.

That's the fight I want to see, if Ponce De Leon took him to hell I want to see what Rocky could do.

Im sorrry to say but martinez is a limited fighter.unless he makes profound switches to his defense he won't go very far.as excting his style is he can't come to brawl with every opponent.i dont knock him off for this but I also believe money will be his downfall.he traveled as a champ to scotland just for a couple of extra bucks to fight little unknown burns and clearly got beat.signs of a fighter hungry for money without thinking of what can possibly go wrong in future fights.but best of luck,i wouldn't count him out.if i were to estimate I believe toprank MAY pick him up.

Martinez will go a lot further with 2 things: 1) Improved defence and 2) one of the main promoters in the U.S. He should get input from Cotto and Trinidad on who to go with.
