I don't normally find anything Haye says particularly funny, but this was mildly amusing in a dry and cynical way.

How will his wife (Booth) respond?
Next up from Haye's twitter account: "Take my wife ... please!"

When will Boxers and Athletes learn to stay away from twitter? It has done more bad than good for people. How many have been arrested/shunned because of FB and twitter? Its a joke, its always the classless people doing this stuff too. Never see someone who's a class act posting ****** stuff on twitter.

The boxing board got it the other way around:

Keeping women and wives out of jokes is discrimination and disgusting sexism.

As a feminist I fully support Haye on this!

That's the best way to sum up this unnecessary inconvenience.

                  Reminds me of another joke:

WoG: "Darling, I want to travel. I want to visit a place where I have never been before"

HoB: "Then go to the kitchen"

There's nothing like a good joke, and that was nothing like a good joke.

The BBBoC should punish him for crimes against humour.
