bam bam is the #3 WBC ranked contender and is not the mandatory contender.
rios needs to earn the right to fight Soto. He cant just cut in line, unless he's a coward, which in the past he has already proven to be a coward for ducking Juan Diaz and ducking John Murray.

Rios had ducked Juan Diaz' challenge.
Diaz wanted to fight Rios, but Rios chickened-out, and instead is now going to fight Soto's and Miguel Acosta's leftovers (Antillon).
Former IBF/WBA/WBO lightweight champion Juan Diaz (35-4, 17KOs) is gunning for a title shot against WBA lightweight champion Brandon Rios (27-0, 20KOs). In a recent interview with BoxingScene.com, Diaz announced his return to boxing after being away since July 2010. Diaz lost two of his last there fights, with two of those defeats coming at the hands of Juan Manuel Marquez.

Brandon Rios had also ducked John Murray.
      Murray challenged Rios many times:
John Murray and Kevin Mitchell could be fighting for a shot at WBA world lightweight champion Brandon Rios when they meet next month.

Peterson was the #1 WBC ranked and mandatory contender, and was due to fight Soto.

Peterson fought bam bam for the WBA #1 position, and the WBA does not have tough contenders like the WBC.

Rios needs to stop being a chicken and "get in line".
Rios just wants a shortcut to Soto's title cause Rios is scared fo facing the tough contenders in the WBC Lighweight division.

The trash talking has already begun. So I'm guessing this fight is gonna happen.

I like this, he beats Mayorga, Cotto beats Cheato, then they fight early next year.
