He did the same thing with Shane Mosley, after the fight was already signed, shane said NO and then Zab apparently broke his hand in the shower

He didn't "break his hand" he cut his arm on the glass from the broken shower door. We never heard exactly HOW the door was broken, other than that he slipped in the shower. A rare result, I think, but it seems that the cut was legitimate.
