Wouldn't do any good anyway. They met awhile back to discuss the testing procedures and voted against upgrading them. Truth is the athletic commissions don't really have any money so even if they wanted to upgrade testing they couldn't due to lack of funds. Also with thier current testing you don't get the results til after the fight. So if someone was actually doping and got caught the damage would already be done. These fools can't even tell the difference between animal piss and human piss. Look what just happened in the UFC a few weeks ago.Comment

Really a shame when you think about it. Essentially, it's up to the fighter to protect himself. And not everyone is in a position to afford doing something like that.Wouldn't do any good anyway. yeah the government is the mommy and the daddy til the day you die. what my point is since you cant grasp it is that you hate the individual as compared to the mob. you lack the ability to appreciate intelligence and drive of one man and can only understand and respect what the herd does compared to the individual. theyre are many people who share your hive mentality.Comment

The commission has already pooh-pooed the idea, much like it did when the subject of steroid testing was first raised 20 years ago. That's really no surprise. But it started with two fighters paying out of pocket to do it. Then doing it again and again. Then more joining the fray--those who could afford it. It took the commission about five years to get on board. So while we here you that it's up to the commission to implement better testing, the driving force behind them doing so are the clean fighters and articles like this that raise awareness.Comment
