Does Alvarez have hand problems?

He wears Winnings for fights which is strange, especially for someone so young. Generally, boxers wearing them have hand problems so they want a softer glove. Does anyone know if Alvarez has issues with his hands or does he just genuinely prefer the gloves to Reyes?

They pay him. He's a winning fighter, no telling when that deal will be up. All of his gym work and sparring footage he is usually wearing Reyes gloves, though. But come fight night, you gotta rock who you're signed to.
