I hadnt thought about that .. but you know what you might be on to something there. They could use the Mexico vs Puerto Rico angle on that one to.

People need to understand that these promoters are in it for their pockets. If they could make money from this kid without risking the opportunity to make more money, they will do it. They know the fans are going to watch and they will sell the fans this ilusion that this guy is the best thing since butter was invented. It has been going on for years now, and fans continue to watch the garbage they put out there. If you was a promoter and are making money with this guy fighting tomato cans, are you going to risk the earnings by putting him with someone that could potentially beat him and lose revenue? No, because people are going to watch regardless of who he fights. Canelo is making money also, I am pretty sure he is not complaining about the tomato cans he fights.

"He has the complexion to get some protection." M. Ali. Someone said England was a broad place, but they think all Mexicans are the same. There is a racial divide in Mexico wider "than a begger can spit." M. Caine, and the European infestation is not deminished. Nationality aside, Canelo could walk the streets of Berlin or Madrid without notice. Mayorga is shot and bringing his name up at this level is disgracefull.
I'm beginning to think Canelo really is ducking Vanes. His manager is certainly avoiding Vanes' name. Maybe they are going alphabetically and Vanes should change his name to Banes.

Creo que esta pelea serviría como parametro para un futuro enfrentamiento unificatorio con Cotto, fuera de eso la pelea sería atractiva porque ambos boxeadores son pegadores y ademas la mandibula del Canelo todavía esta en duda.

this version of the WWE used to be all smoke and mirrors. Now promoters are too ***in lazy to use the smoke nowadays. MAYORGA?

And berto was the hypejob? SMDH

Don't like the fight. Would rather see him fight Collazo. Mexico/Puerto Rico, a guy who has an awkward style, and could be a good learning experience for Alvarez.
Not to mention Collazo has fought once since 2009 so he might come in rusty. May not be as tough a fight as people think.
