Tyson and Lewis. Tyson for teh lulz and Lewis so he can give the rematch that he ducked and retired from like a coward as Steward says.
I dont get bringing back people from 50's/60's I think they are overhyped by the nostalgia. Just because they fought back then doesnt mean they will be amazing today, Boxing has changed alot. Go to any club show and you will see an amazing fight with alot of action and drama. But throw one of those fighters against someone who knows what they are doing and its one sided demolition.
^ That is 1960's or 1950's in a nutshell, people like to cling on to History and pretend fighters back then were so amazing and so talented that they would own today.
Read up on Evolution of Sports, in virtually every sport records of 50 years ago have been DEMOLISHED due to Training/Technique/Knowledge. Same thing in Boxing, those fighters back then couldnt hang with a contender. Could they become champs if they trained and ate with modern equipment? Sure, doesnt mean 100% they wouldve owned everyone today like some people claim.
Its something about the "good old days" that people cling on to and hype up to the point where I cringe. They dont want to see that every generation has Bums and dominant people.Comment

I respect your opinion but if you balance those fighters genetics and what they would learn now. The would smash threw the current IMHO. Boxing back in the day had gyms on EVERY CORNER. It's true what you say but also the competition back then was much higher due to the masses and interest. Numbers and interest peak competition breed what we have today. So today fighters are built upon what was done 50 years ago. just my thoughts.Tyson and Lewis. Tyson for teh lulz and Lewis so he can give the rematch that he ducked and retired from like a coward as Steward says.

Hector Camacho Sr. -- He could have been one of the greatest. He had otherworldly speed and skills.
Jake LaMotta -- I would have loved to see him. I've been fascinated with him since I saw Raging Bull in like 1990, which is why I became a fan of boxing. I was 7 and just became a LaMottaTard. I would have loved to see him prime.
Sam Langford -- He never won a title and fought from like LW to HW. He was in an era where people of colored were discriminated against. The historians say he's one of the greatest ever, so from a pure analytical perspective, I would like to see him prime and judge for myself and see how he'd measure up.Comment
