Him against PACQUIAO?!?!?!?! Are you guys serious? Pacquiao inside 3, almost no chance Valero gets out of the first half of the fight.

And Valero did NOT have one punch power. He wore guys down with his heavy hands.

I was just waiting for the day when he fought someone with legit boxing ability and with some pop on their punches. A decent fighter would have had a field day with Valero
Nah most of his KO's were within the first round. It takes a lot more rounds to wore a boxer down.

Those chumps were blitzed with his freakish power and he always goes for the kill early. Well the fact that most of his victims were cab drivers diminishes his rep but his stopping power can't be denied although I agree that he was overrated.

LMAO, the same guy who put a beating on Oscar De La Hoya when he was sparring for the Pacquiao fight. And they had to send Valero home because he was hurting him, even gave odlh the black eye people were wondering about in the press. Talk about coming in confident for the fight. Valero was a beast, never reached his true potential. Thats just the word around here, never saw it myself.

Why are people still talking about this? Valero is Pacquiao's leftover.

Too lazy to find the interview with Manny mentioning how Valero didn't hit hard at all.

Valero may hit harder than Pac but Pac is the better fighter. It would be a good fight though as long as its last. Imagine if Pac who fought Valero instead of Vicente Mosquera. When finally Valero stepped up his game, it took him for 10 rounds landing all his power punches to finally put down Mosquera who defended using his face. Masquera also knocked down Valero in the 3rd round and we know Pacquiao is 10x better than Mosquera.

Valero had to be on "X side meth". German soldiers used to take it...they could see up to 400 miles at night and a single soldier could take out an entire regiment of tanks wihout getting so much as a scratch.
