A fight that was let go way too far by ref and Oumas corner...he had NO chance to win...

Lol you can tell this dumbass didnt even watch the fight. Ouma was winning this fight by outboxing and landing flush shots on Golovkin. Golovkin didnt impress, only thing was Ouma gassed and was taking too many shots in the later rounds. Good stoppage by the referee tho Ouma wouldnt have lasted another round better to save him from himself because he would have never quit. Golovkin also leads with his head alot especially in the later rounds of the Ouma fight lot of headbutts to Oumas chin. A good boxer with a nice punch will beat Golovkin at 160, he better not go near Maravilla anytime soon because his speed alone will make Golovkin freeze up kinda like he was in the early rounds of the Ouma fight.

As for Kassim I hope he makes a good recovery this guy always comes to fight and was going toe to toe with this guy and landing the cleaner punches. He probably was blazing in training camp lol and paid the price in the later rounds, but hopefully he makes a good recovery and drops back down to 154 where he can still give other fighters problems.

Golovkin is a beast. he'll keep stopping guys until he gets his big money fight.....then it all depends on his opponent. He does have the skills to destroy chavez jr.

You must have only watched the last 3 rounds then, because if you think it was 1 sided your just biased. Golovkin did overwhelm him and was a straight up win for him, but he had alot of trouble with an inflated shell of a fighter and was marked up a bit as well too. Imagine someone who doesnt gas and actually has a middleweight punch. I like Gennady too hes got raw power and the talent to become something bigger, but he still has alot of improvement to do with his defense because if he keeps fighting like that against top tier opponents hed be in for a long night.

It wasn't competitive after round 6. I had given Ouma 2 of the first 4 rounds and whilst some of them were close he wasn't really winning the rounds as he didn't hit hard enough to really out do the harder shots of the champion. Good fight shame to hear about Ouma though. =/

This is why Golovkin is a dangerous guy. He can take punishment and he doesn't back down or slow down. He has a massive punch I can see why he beat some big names in the Amateurs. However at this stage, he's very easy to hit. Someone with more power and more skill than Ouma would have made Golovkin look like a fool in some of those rounds. He needs to work on his defense and I might be impressed.

Yeah, im with you. Dunno what fight these guys were watching. Ouma was punchin Golovkin head up n down like a bobble head. Too bad Ouma was just throwing arm punches. Plus Golovkin was missing badly the first couple of rounds till Ouma started to gass and began to receive punishment.
