What kind of crappy record is 25 - 3 anyway??

No boxing great has a ****ty pro record of only 25-3 at 37 years old! Other than being a one trick pony with only a single fighter he has some ability to beat, what is great about Tarver? And big for a lt heavy? Says who...he's a skinny bastard and would get mauled if he even tried to move up to heavy, which he should do easy if he's so "big" for lt heavy! Anyone who thinks 25-3 is a good record is an idiot! Ruiz record puts Tarver's to shame! Let's see Tarver beat the easiest fighter on Ruiz win list!

You are obviously just trying to get under people's skin by the whole Ruiz is god thing, but I do agree with you about tarver.

I was just about to start a simular thread. Besides Jones And Johnson, who the hell has he really fought to be king of p4p?

I think tarver and johnson got very lucky cause roy wasn't the same in even tarver's and his first fight (which tarver won IMO)

I've always hated roy, thought he had crazy reflexes, but hated him still, and loved that tarver IMO beat him all 3 times, but I just don't see the big deal with tarver.

He's got talent yes, but everyone acts like he is the ****ing king and he's really only fought 2 good fighters, and johnson was only really thought of as good after he beat the jones tarver already had ko'd

Give Tarver his credit he is a very good fighter and has a very good chin...He could do some damage still in the next year or two and his destiny is losing by TKO for the first time in his career to Lacy in 07 after dominating the LHW division for a year or so.

Tarver looks like an amateur to me with a style that is tailor made for roy jones and its as simple as that! Tarver would never survive 3 rounds with ANYONE in the heavyweight division. That's why he stays in lt heavy where everyone is garbage!

Tarver does not have many wins on his record because he started fighting late in age. He could be 60-3 if he had fought as many bums as some fighter fight to pad their record.

Taver has 3 losses and i wanted him 2 lose 2night but u gotta give him credit, pretender u r a ass jockey, Tarver has 3 losses and avenged every one with 2 of them being controversey so hes basically undeafeated, unlike Ruiz who has like 4 losses and never avenged any, Tarver never got KTFO in 19 secs, Tarver Beat Jones KO2 and easily 2night which Ruiz could not do, Roy Dominated Ruiz, And If Tarver ever faught Ruiz he would win every round cuz he is a great boxer, he would outbox Ruiz all night..
