Nah it's too soon imo give him time and he will catch pac at the right time IF he's still fighting imo canelos going good at this pace next up should be a cintron or the cotto vs marg winner

Canelo looked good tonight and is a good fighter who attacks with combination punching to the body.

At the same time, it's easy to look good against C+/ B level opponents, which is what Hatton and Rhodes are. Let's see Canelo vs Vanes or Cintron.

A fight with Pacquiao would show whether or not Canelo can take a punch. Canelo can throw them, but if he can't hit Pacquiao well and if the Pacman can take the punch- Canelo would get his pretty face busted up and his corner might throw in the towel.

It would be career suicide at this point, but also a massive payday which may not come along again.
