You really are blind if u dont see canelo blasting by your hero cotto and making cintron leapfrog out of the ring. Canelo already shut the brits up. What ppl don't see is Canelo overwhelms opponents with his accurate punch placement. They talk about him getting hit 2 much but thats only when he's walking through an inferior opponents punches. Open ur eyes and notice the kid is legit. He is way 2 big for Pacquiao and dare I say it poses a legitimate threat to Mayweather. Canelo KO's Pac with body punches & gives Mayweather a serious run 4 his money. Half u forum posters think Pac would go right thru bradley. then again half yall r *******s. The kid is big & skilled. He is a legit veteran of the game at 20. This win should open alot of eyes but most will discredit this by calling Rhodes a bum. Rhodes was a legit threat in this fight & that should not be dismissed becuz Canelo was dominant.

Canelo carried Rhodes ... he wanted to get some work in and please the fans with some rounds. I'm convinced he could have stopped Rhodes the way he did in the last round in round one if he had so desired. Rhodes wasn't much more than a human punch bag against Canelo.

This kid is groing on me. It looked like he really worked on his speed and head movement for this fight. He might not be p4p yet but I think he's top 5 at jmw: Williams, Cotto, Cintron, dzinzurik, Angulo, even Margs, if he can beat two of these guys then we can call him a star and a possible opponent for pac may and martinez. for now he's on the brink no one can deny his accuracy is pretty astounding. Next up should be a guy like austin trout who is a very legitimate threat.

¿Ready for the devil? HAHAHA! Well if the Devil fights like Rhodes, then of course he's ready for him!! If that's the case then I'm ready to face the Devil too!! Like I mentioned in the thread with the pics, Canelo's performance did look better than it has in past fights, he showed a better defense, he was coming in throwing his shots & moving out & moving around the ring & at times picking his shots from the outside..But his opponent had a lot to do with that cause he practically fought a moving punching bag that threw shots every once & a while & most of them were at the wind..Rhodes performance made Mathew Hatton(Canelo's last opponent) look like a real top quality fighter(& he's NOT, he's the total opposite)..& Canelo was trying to go for the KO all night, but wasn't getting it & that knockdown wasn't caused by a right hand(like it says here in the article), the replay clearly showed that Canelo missed & Rhodes tripped on his own feet..That's why he got up fine & stood right in front of Canelo & didn't try to move or hold on..Canelo had the fight in his pocket before it even started cause Rhodes went in there with a loosing mans mentality by saying that the ONLY way he could win was by KO cause he was NOT going to win a decision & had NO game plan except to go for the KO & 90% of the time fighters with that mentality end up loosing!! & by the way Rhodes fought, he barely tried to go for the KO, he was just trying to survive the 12 rounds...At the end of the night Rhodes made Canelo look better than what he actually is...
