What a joke

I guess I'm the biggest hater ever if I like watching competitive fights. I had no interest in this fight because I knew it was going to be a joke. Who here had heard of Rhodes, mmm, probably not to many people because he wasn't worth mention. There is better competition out there. I don't care how high Rhodes was ranked. Some fighters get ranked higher or lower then they should be.GUYS!!!!!!! Alvarez is 20 years old!!!! It would be the biggest mistake of their lives if they threw Alvarez in too deep at this point. He is SOOOOOO young and has SUCH a bright future ahead of him.
Be patient and we'll have an exciting star that will fight for 15 more years.... or have an exciting fighter that will last half that. Easy choice. Just wait, it wont be more then a year or two before he starts knocking on the biggest threats out there. He is still too young for those challenges
I understand Canelo is young, but the fact is he's a champ technically. He was handed the vacant 154 WBC title against a 147 fighter. That was a joke. They wanted to give him that title, what did they expect? Golden Boy is going to have to put him up against tougher fights sooner than later.
I want to see him fight Angulo or Cotto personally. But even if he doesn't fight them there are good fights for him at 154. Dzinziruk, Wolak, Martirosyan, Cintron, and Trout would all be better fights and fights that would earn respect from me. Boxing at its finest is when the best fight the best, that's what the fans want to see. **** riders like to watch there favorite fighters beat up bums. Thats not what boxing is about.Comment

in place of a lengthy amatuer career he turned pro.Why does everyone overrate the age factor? He's got 38 fights. He's already been fighting grown men as a kid, barely a teen, and now he's about to enter his physical prime already with a load of experience. He's gone past 10 plenty of times, gone the distance. He's got the name. It's time to step it up. Rhodes and Hatton couldn't even beat K9 and he's the weakest title holder.
Much like JCC Jr., he forced himself into a position where he needed to gain experience fighting in the pros rather then the amatuers.
The age factor isnt even close to being overrated.
A young guy at age 20 has not reached his physical prime yet, and wont for at least another 5 years. There is ZERO sense or logic in throwing a young like Alvarez who has SOOOOOOOOOOOO much UPSWING and potential in there against a guy who could potentially beat him up and ruin his career.
Wait till he is absolutely read for the challenge so you can be sure that he passes and can move on to bigger and better things.Comment
