    Something's wrong...

Roy Jones Jr. lost fair and square, kudos to Antonio for sticking it. However, something about Roy just puzzled me. He came in to the ring serious, however smiled half of the fight. For such a anti-climatic end, why did he waste so much time playing mind games and sticking tongue out? In the end, it alomst seemed a little unsportsmanship-like. Why did Jones keep the same attitude throughout hole night? It seemed like same thing with his corner man, like they were all expecting the outcome. Now I don't think any of this was rigged and was planeed (not at all), I just feel there was something about Roy tonight that just seemed wierd, and/or not right.

Did anyone catch that too or was that just me?

I think he believed he could score rounds by playing to the crowd and making fun of tarver..I honestly felt he could have won if he just was more active..Tarver wouldnt punch back when roy jones punched so I dont know why roy didnt just go to the body more. Them body shots looked like it actually effected tarver

Manny P - Don't be "that" guy plz.

Roy made some bad decisions, and he lost. That is that. But what puzzled me was his strange attitude after, like it was nothing. Oh well

LOL. jest bustin sum chops round hurrr.

It sucks. I wanted Jones to win too. I mean Tarver has ta skills to DESERVE to be top dawg, but had Jones won, it woulda been great and coulda made ma an author and write a Jones' Life book. Man! Oh well, doesn't change ta fact that Jones is a legend of our era and has impressive wins gainst HOF fightas.

Roy looked like the old Roy, with 50% of the speed and 25% of the punches.

If he would've just put some pressure on, or tried to finish off Tarver in the 10th (I think it was the 10th when he hurt him), Roy would've knocked him out. Tarver had nothing left in the tank, regardless of what anyone says. Look at his legs in the fight, from the 10th on, he was wobbly and had them close together...a sign of a fighter who's tired as hell.

yea, it seemed like he was fighting just to prove he can go the distance with tarver and not get KO'd.

It's funny you say he only had 50% of his speed because he still looked faster than any fighter I've seen with the exception of Mayweather Jr.
