I agree with you that Pac is more accomplished on paper and that the accomplishments have nothing to do with who is better , but they add to the aura of public perception and that alters betting thats why its relevant , for the bookies to initially instill Floyd as favorite they are stating who they think will win nothing more , what the public do from there will alter the betting .

Being greater and being better are 2 different things.

Pac is greater. Pac IMO is around the top 30-40 greatest fighters of all time.

Floyd is better the more skilled fighter.

Greatness is resume and accomplishments.

Best is skills and talent.

So Pac can "be so great" but still not be better or win a H2H match up.

And, then you have to figure out styles. Because, one fighter can be better and greater and still lose to a fighter who has his number or the style to beat him.

He didn't really need to mention Pac accolades. Unless he's trying to set up an argument that Floyd is greater. Now we can have a discussion.

Well no because, FOTD, FOTY, and the accolades that Manny has won. Has nothing to do with who's best. But, who actually has the better resume and accomplishment in said field.

IMO Ricardo Lopez was the most perfect technical skills best fighter in the 90's. However, you can't tell me he deserved FOTD or FOTY or any really career accolades over the likes of Roy Jones and Whitaker who has accomplished much more.

Pac has accomplished much more than Floyd.

im not even sure if manny really accomplished more than floyd in reality...since the 2nd jmm fight hes had obvious advantages and was well matched..sure he \has the names but they wernt at their best..he fought them at the right time..hes a great fighter but has had greater match making

Much different weights in the fights, it was pretty obvious JMM was way out of his weight, much slower, less power, less endurance.
