According to promoter Fernando Beltran of Zanfer Promotions, the super flyweight world champion of the World Boxing Council (WBC), Mexico's Tomas "Gusano" Rojas, will defend his crown for the third time on September 3 in his native Veracruz. Beltran wanted to set the record straight, after promoters in Thailand announced that Rojas was fighting in their country on August 23 against Suriyan Sor Rungvisai.
