Pac has a very unique style which comes with power shots from awkward angles. He has a good straight left hand and a good right hook. To come out with a win against Pac this is what I have come up with:

    1. In and out...stick and move.
    2. Keep Pac turning so that he can't set to throw the left hand but beware of the right hook. Moving clockwise should keep you away from the straight left and a peppering jab to nullify the right hook.
    3. Throw lead straight rights often to the body and to the head followed by a jab to gain separation. Repeat this sequence often using great head movement by ducking, slipping, and side step counters to nullify the effectiveness of Pac's attack.
    4. When forced into close quarters go over and under and finish with a strong jab to gain separation. Timing is the key to land good shots on Pac because he has great timing in which he capitalizes off ones mistakes. The common mistakes is thinking he's done punching so we say finish last and gain separation.
    5. Never take a defensive posture against Pac by allowing him to pepper off shots. The result is that he'll take the round, hurt you real bad causing a knock down, or even maybe gain a KO.
    6. Look for openings for heavy shots to the body. These opportunities have to be exploited. Especially if we can keep Pac moving, rounds 4-8 are the opportune time for landing these shots. We believe he'll slow down and may become lethargic, confused, and discouraged.
    7. Assuming we are able to carry out the above, rounds 9-12 is the time to sit down on those straight rights. He should have slowed up enough so that we can use the straight right, left jab, right hook to the body, and final jab for separation. This could be very rewarding.
    8. He should be lunging at this point which he did in the Marquez fight and other fights in late rounds. We have to time his lunges and hit him with a stiff counter punch.

This is what I could think of against Pac. I'm judging based on what I have seen in his last three fights and none of those opponents did any of the things I have mentioned with any level of consistency.

If it were that easy, he'd have lost nearly every fight. Mayweather has reflexes that are almost superhuman, that is how he wins his fights. The issue is that his counters are most effective against guys who move in straight lines- which is why he is always able to counter and slip to the side afterwards because the other guy is moving straight.

Pac dances around and moves his head a lot for starters, which will make that pull counter stuff hard to do on a consistent basis. Secondly, Mayweather does best against guys who give him distance and try to outbox him rather than just attack and pressure with their own offense- this gives Mayweather time to think and strategize, which is why he improves as the fight goes on.

Third, Pac throws more than one punch at a time usually. You might block one or two but one or two or getting through. Pac's hands move so fast that it's hard to see where they are all going- the best thing is just to wrap him up when he attacks which may cost you a point or a DQ in a PPV fight because people didn't pay big money for a hug fest and the ref won't let it happen in that kind of venue.

It will be a close fight if they do fight and Mayweather will definitely land his shots and definitely limit Pac's output but on the other side of the coin, once you've eaten 20 or 30 flush shots from the Pacmonster, how will that affect you're own game?
