At the Arena Roberto Duran in Panama City, Panama, Alberto Mosquera (16-0-1, 12 KOs) and Johan Perez (13-0-1, 10 KOs) kept their unbeaten records as they fought to a ten round draw in a junior welterweight contest. The scores were 97-94 Mosquera and 95-95, 96-96 for the draw. The fight was a war in the ring but it seemed that Perez got the better of the exchanges and landed the more telling blows. There were some very close rounds where both fighters were throwing and landing a lot of punches.

A robbery, Johan Perez won clearly, I had him 97-93, but it could've been 96-94. That draw was just a joke.
