if he can beat lara and a few names convincingly and look like hes a contender again then yes
Does PWILL deserve a trilogy against Martinez?......

Good question. I don't mind seeing a third meeting, but the validity of a third fight went crashing to the canvass with Paul. The first fight with "Maravilla" was great. It could've gone either way. If we got anything near that in number two, a trilogy would've been a no-brainer. At this point, I don't think too many people wonder as to who the better fighter is.Comment

I think people read too much into that punch, its a one off. If they fight again, Martinez will look for that again and it'll be his downfall (decision wise, no KO).Good question. If any wants to beat Martinez they just have to look at the first Pwill fight. Martinez likes to control the fight and pick his punches, a volume puncher like PWill will take him out of his comfort zone and force him to engage.
But first, lets see how Paul does against Lara, if its the old Pwilll then yeah he's capable of beating Martinez (IMO of course)Comment

agreed...this is proven in the fact that he lost to margarito...you have to keep a guy like sergio out of his rhythm.Comment

Perception is very important in marketing a fight. People have to believe the end result is in question. Whether Paul got caught "one off" isn't really the issue, it's whether people believe it or not. Being sent into a coma with one shot tends to make people believe you're not in the sleep-inducer's league....I think people read too much into that punch, its a one off. It depends a lot of how Williams fights against Lara. If he shows signs of improvement, like getting a better defence by using his long jab, then maybe he deserves a fight with Maravilla. If he doesn't shows a lot of improvement then I don't think that he should step in the ring with Sergio. The second fight was a one brutal punch KO, but it was also because Williams was unable to get Sergio out of range, so unless Williams learns how to use his height and long arms to his advantage I don't think he deserves a chance with Martinez.Comment
