one your comment contributed nothing to this forum. its not really about coming from 106, its the manner, he was able to go from fighting at 130 to 144 in 8 months and kept his power and speed when all other boxers move through weight classes especially the smaller ones, they tend to lose speed and power, yet he sustained, maybe it was just great workout regiments, or something else, I'm not saying which one, one because I don't care and two I don't want him to cry some more and try to sue me.

Andre Ward also has a Nike endorsement, along with jcc Jr, both before Pac had his, does that mean anything? nope

You guys are both way off the mark, and living in the past.

I ask you, when a trainer sits down to study video of an upcoming opponent, which would he regard as the most relevant.....

1.) a fight held two years ago, in a lower division, when the guy was not much more than a green kid, and was killing himself to make weight

2.) his last fight, at his natural weight, where he had much better conditioning, much better stamina, much more energy, where he was much stronger, more experienced, had much more confidence, and was right on top of his game

      Bet with me.....

Tell me what round you guys think that Mayweather will knock him out ?

When will that "overhyped" kid be "backed up", "man handled", and eventually "fold" ?

I agree with what you said, Berto couldn't KO him with a hard hard flush shot, probably the hardest he ever felt, I don't think he will quit, but Floyd can take away your confidence and he likes to walk forward against southpaws

I'm sure Victor truely believes what he's saying, but this reminds me of what B-Hop said before the Pavlik fight..."How's he gonna feel when he gets in the ring and finds out he's been lied to". Victor is an emotional kid, and this fight just might ruin him for real. He's gonna find out the hard way that Mayweather operates on a completely different level than anything he's ever experienced. Easy work for Floyd.

i really hope ortiz is mentally strong for this one, this'll be the toughest fight for him yet imo. but if he has the same will and mentality he had the same night as he did against berto, i think he can make things interesting. i'm hoping he can upset mayweather, but this is really a hard image to picture...can't wait for all the pressers and hbo coverage of this fight, lots of expectations and hype.

Man I love this ****. Gotta hand it to ortiz, he s saying all the right things. No fear, no respect, just balls to the wall. My brain keeps telling me theres no way in hell he s gonna win this fight, but my heart says who knows. If grandpa could catch floyd like he did vic could do at least that. Floyd would have never been caught like that back in the day, i think its safe to say he s slowing down. All in all this is looking like a great match up. I gotta hand it to floyd he really steped up this time.
