Who the hell is froch to even think about getting a fight with Calzaghe? Joe would ruffle froches face and bleed him to death. Froch does not have the skills and the tools to beat Joe. After Joe retired everyone suddenly braved to beat him. While Joe was around only truly tough guys challenged him which resulted to their ******ity loss. As for froch I give him a chance against ward, but I suspect that ward will beat froch in similarity of Dirrell's fight agains froch. Now, that is being said, we would all agree that Dirrell beat froch hands down. Dirrell didn't have to work hard or go out of his way to beat froch, but he beat froch with an ease and additionally he ridiculed froch throughout the fight. Froch was clearly frustrated of catching Dirrell, while in the process doing so he constantly got countered by Dirrell. Ward will use precisely the same tactics and strategy to school froch. If you watched ward's fights then you shouldn't doubt that ward will let froch walk though him. But the opposite will occur. As for froch to be a serious threat to Calzaghe, then he must be talking out the top of his hat. Joe beat Kessler and Kessler beat froch. Although it's not practical to make comparisons, who beat whom and based on those factors make the predictions. however froch was only willing to have a shot at Calzaghe just to embrace his resume through Calzaghe. Hopkins will kill froch.
In the past two and a half years Froch has only fought two men who had any real credibility, and he lost one of those......
The division just isn't what it used to be. Froch can't be blamed for that, he can only beat who ever is put in front of him, but a peak Calzaghe would have made him look a novice, and the likes of Roy Jones and Nigel Benn would have KO'd him.
You can criticise Froch for a lot of things but his resume is not one of them.
froch has drawn distinction from calzaghe. he has now branched off from out from under his shadow and has been whittling his own legacy.
I agree. Froch has a legacy comparable with the best now. The only question left is how far can he go? can he beat Ward and Kessler? not sure, but one thing's for sure it will be interesting to find out.
If Carl beats Andre Ward he surpasses Calzaghe in my opinion. It's just gone so fast that it's flown over a lot of peoples heads that Froch is actually cleaning out the entire division. He's an underdog against Ward though.
Yet people will always say Calzaghe beats him. Froch loses every fantasy fight.
It's been a long time since anybody deserved an easy payday as much as Froch does after the s6 conclusion. If he continues his assault on this murderers row of opponents, then even more praise will come his way. Still I think that Froch SHOULD take an easy fight soon to avoid burning out to quickly. A homecoming fight in Nottingham would be huge and deserved.

I'll help you with this one, a jaded Kessler beat Froch.

Maybe people say Calzaghe wins because he was the better all round boxer?
And Joe beat a prime Kessler?

A shot Taylor, Dirrell, and a one dimensional Abraham comprise a 'Murderers row'?
