lol one thing is for sure haye has definately got inside wlad's head he couldn't even speak he was so angry ... neither guy is scared or 'shook' imo but wlad is certainly pissed - Haye's plan is to get him so pissed that he comes out of his clinical style and starts swinging so he'll open himself up for the counters ... keep talking aboout vitali and maybe he will

Thanks, got real busy there for a second at work.
While I am excited for every Klitschko fight, this fight has me drooling. Personally, I think this fight is more significant than Mayweather v Pac, because it clears the way for Wlad to have all of the HW belts after Vit retires, what, first time since Lewis?
I have to give it to Haye though, like Wlad said, he got the fight with his mouth only, now we'll see if it was all just talk. I don't see anything at HW or any of Haye's fights at cruiser that show that he can beat Wlad or even a young top-10 HW. Barrett, Fraudley, and crippled Valuev? Please...
Haye is clearly out of his element at HW and all that extra weight he put on is having an effect. He is not as active - look at how many punches he threw per round against Fraudley and Valuev. Ruiz was tagging him easily with the jab. I also see a little bit of a gut on Diva at 220. He is saying that he will not be like everyone of Wlad's opponents but I already see the mentality "I gotta come in heavier to be able to withstand some of those punches.."
The Hayeboyz don't want to admit it but if they look at Haye's speed at CW and his activity and then look at it HW, objectively, they'll see the difference. It's remarkable actually how much his activity level went down, I think it's partly because he is being more cautious and partly because of all the extra weight. Which only means one thing, he will not take Wlad out of the comfort zone with a quick blitz ala Sanders, he will allow Wlad to dictate the pace like he usually does. Wlad will do his "jab, jab, grab" and will end it when Haye is softned up to the point of not being dangerous. This will be like the Sultan fight, except for one thing, Sultan had a much tougher beard than Haye has, so look for a mid-to-late KO/TKO win for Wlad.

What you say makes sense. My take is also that Haye has found the HW division to not be to his liking, accounting for the fact that he has fought so little, downgraded his expectations of being a "savior," and now wants to cash out. He is already making excuses as to why he won't fight Vitali if he wins this, but it's pretty obvious that it's not some silly arbitrary deadline that bothers him -- he is scared of Vitali (rightly so). Thanks, got real busy there for a second at work.

So I agree that Haye has talked himself into a huge payday: he is laughing all the way to the bank. As he is getting out, I expect him to want to get out with his health intact, which tells me he is going to try to run like he did against Valuev. Wlad will be able to cut the ring off in a way that Valuev couldn't manage, however. When he does, I think we see a KO of Haye, who will go down fast and not try to get up. Then he walks away set for life financially, and he has Wlad to thank for it (not that I expect that to happen).Comment

It's quite a good conversation you are having Tunney, with yourself and there is a lto fo logic and sense in what you say. Thanks, got real busy there for a second at work.

That was brilliant, perfect mood setter for this fight - both guys scored points here, but I don't expect Haye to be the one on his feet grinning when the smoke clears on July 2nd.Comment

Did you actually watch the face off?
Haye was clearly scared, nervous, fidgety, wiggly... you name it.
Wlad was merely holding himself back from KOing Haye in a split second.Comment
