He's been in shape for a long time.
He's in shape all year long, he's one of the guys who keeps training even when he's not fighting. Now about the veins that are showing, I can tell you that his veins showing are not a conclusive sign of overtraining. If that was the case, Haye would also be overtrained, look at his neck and you'll realize that he also has big veins.

This guys are training really hard, and in a face off like that the adrenaline goes up and their heart rate also goes up, it's normal that their veins are showing.

            Gotcha.

Well it should a real competitive match until the fight starts.

Than Wlad lands a right hand.

            Gameover.

negative. Wlad is one of the few athletes who 'put on' pounds for a fight. Eman said wlad puts on 10 sometimes 15lbs for a fight. It's actually preetty noticeable when you look at his pictures pre and post training.

Going into 2 complete camps back to back is never good for a fighter, ever. Saying to look at Shane Mosley before Floyd and Allen Green before Ward wouldn't be fair since they wouldn't have looked good in those fights anyhow.

But Wlad has been vascular and at a low bf% for a while now, he's not far removed from a 'full' chisora training camp.

Tyson-Lewis for me. All my friends and I were pumped and watched it at my Uncle's. Major disappointment, we were all rooting for Mike.

Of course, when he's not training for a fight he's not going to gain muscle mass, in fact a guy like Wlad has to train a lot and eat a huge amount of protein in order to mantain his physique. When he's "relaxing" his training consists mainly of running, so it's pretty normal that he's lighter, but when he trains to fight he needs more intensity and gains more muscle mass. It's normal, you can't stay in the same shape all year long. Either you lose some pounds or gain some pounds.

No, it's not about gaining muscle mass. Heavyweights LOSE weight to get fit for a fight, not gain weight. Vitali walks around 270, fights at 249, for example.

All of that aside.. here is how haye 'really' feels about wlad and vitali.

Is it me.. or has Wlad only said nothing but nice things about teh Klits when he's interviewed alongside Vitali? I think he's afraid of big Vit. He's NEVER talked out of line when Vit was around.
It's unusually for a fighter to 'put on' the Mass Wlad does, and it works for him after a grueling camp. The problem here is, the 2 camps are extremely close to 1 another. He could be doing himself more harm than good.
