question about gatorade

on the morales maidena fight,morales corner were giving him gatorade,what has changed or where is that allowed,because only water is allow in the corners(as far as im concern),please let me know so i can tell panama lewis..!

I would have to rewatch it to say but from what I understand you are only allowed to have water unless something else was pre approved by the commission so maybe whatever he had was.

I don't think it is everywhere but sports drinks is acceptable to some commissions I believe Nevada is one of them though, I remember it being a big deal for like De La Hoya-Vargas but it wasn't allowed so it was after that.

I think it was vargas - mosleyII they wouldn't allow him to have gatorade not totally sure
But you would think more fighters would request it bcse of it rehydrating you more rapidly than water
