Jones is one of my Favs but as soon as he lost his reflexes he was completely shot imop. His reflexes was so key to his game even to his deceptive power. Didnt realize how much he relied on them to I saw him lose them.

        Not a Cotto stan.

Cotto looked like a healthy, decent fighter vs. Mayorga and Foreman and maybe he won't look good when he fights elite. He might even get destroyed.

But Margo, beginning with the Mosley fight and the comeback fight looked physically shot.

His legs didn't look good in the Garcia fight.

Than he gets beaten to the ground and almost retired.

Margarito looks like a shot fighter. I think its a accumulation of both Cintron fights, The Cotto fight and Mosley fight.

        Than add the Pac beating.

        IMO

          1.Shane Mosley
          2.Roy Jones
          3.Evander Holyfield
          4.Antonio Margarito
          5. James Toney

Some of the names are debatable as far as being mentioned on the list, but it's mostly based on people's opinions here.
clearly is holyfield, jones and mosley.......margarito can still fight but i will say he is not too shot , cotto aint SHOT just because he lost to marg and pac all of a sudden he is shot? gtfo only difference with cotto is that he aint mentally the same and his technique is abit more safety nowadays instead of his earlier days aside from that he has a few more years until his prime goes, same for pavlik but i reckon another fight or two and if he still struggles at SMW then i reckon he is gone unless he goes back down to MW and performs better with say a new trainer and conditioner.

Cotto isn't shot... it's absolutely absurd to even say so.

Either that, or you don't understand the definition of shot.

Past prime? Possible.. not at his best anymore? Probably.

              Shot?

              **** no.

                Agreed.

Do you think Roy is more shot than Evander Holyfield?

Yeah... in the sense that he's missing MOST of what he needs to be successful... Evander was never the fastest fighter, didn't rely on reflexes... just heart, strength, endurance, and the ability to overcome adversity... He's shot, but not compared to Roy.

Having watched RJJ from boy to man I feel qualified to say he's even more shot than when Ali got humilated by Holmes.

                      Definitely Jones…

It happens to all of us eventually. You get old and your skills deteriorate. It’s just part of being human and there isn’t any shame in it. It’s just too bad sometimes it’s the athletes themselves that are last ones to acknowledge it.
