Comments Thread For: Khan: I Was Willing To Bet My Entire Purse To Beat Judah

During a recent interview with talkSPORT, WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan revealed that he was ready to bet his entire purse in a private bet with IBF champion Zab Judah. The two champions are going to collide on July 23 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Last week, Judah challenged Khan to a side bet of $100,000 dollars, and stated that Amir wouldn't reach the twelve round bell. Khan shot back, throwing down a purse vs. purse showdown.

that's right Amir, Zab is just talk. Zab fled NY due to all his debts to the mobsters and landed on the west coast ...Zab, the are coming for you but first, Amir will take you out of your misery

This whole betting each other purse is quite funny. Why not just sign a 'winner takes all' clause in the contract?

Khan by late KO or UD

And for no apparent reason. British boxing is the minor leagues. Over 100 yr history and no all time greats, guess it just isn't in their DNA. They make great tomato cans though. De gale, Cleverly, Kell Brook, its all the same, minor leaguers.

everyone thinks khan has this won but im telling you underestimate judah at your peril he has POWER did you see him take out MABUZA that was a TOMAHAWK CRUISE MISSILE firmly locked on the target and BOOM it was LIGHTS OUT khan is going to run early and try to use his flurrys for points he thinks like everyone else that judah has stamina issues but so does khan he was like an olympic sprinter running away from maidana late on the way i see it pernell is going to have judah pacing himself that last fight his movement was good he worked off of his jabb doubleing it up even and if he lands that left hook ir his uppercuts i think a few million people are going to get a SHOCK =

this is ZAB JUDAHS LAST EVER THROW OF THE DICE..... I SAY HE WINS BY KO

I have no problem with Khan being confident but this is a tough fight and a very risky one at that.

If he thinks he will just walk over Zab, he may be setting himself up for failure.
