He's making sure that on the off chance he does somehow beat Wlad, he has a ready-made excuse to avoid Vitali, who I believe he wants no part of, ever.

But if he did beat Wlad, Vitali will beat him down right then and there after the fight, no contracts needed.

You keep repeating this over and over and you are missing one vital point. If Haye beats Wlad then he will be unconscious on the floor.I'm sure Vitali will be pre-occupied with his brothers lifeless body crumpled in the foetus position than Haye at that moment.

That sounds silly, and one of the reasons that this site is deteriorating so much. So many people talk rubbish. I know your heart is in the right place, and you've written too many good posts in the past to produce something like this now.

I have not yet seen ANY journalist ask Haye what happens if he loses his fight. Will he still retire. If he still does, it will be almost certainly after a big loss. I'd venture that he would not reply, but say that it isn't possible; he is going to WIN.......

We must wait and see, but I am backing Klitschko.

Part time fighter, one of the most overrated in years. The guy is lucky the division is so soft. Even if he beats Wlad he's still nothing impressive to me.

I expect to see more and more fighters retiring in this era.

I know it was something initially made popular in the 80s by Sugar Ray Leonard, taking large amounts of vacation time to then come back only for big money fights. But in this era, pseudo retirements was made popular by Floyd Mayweather Jr. "Retire", then have your haters talk crap about you, keeping you on the headlines, and have your your fans wanting you to come back. Haye will fight after his 30s, I know it.

I expect to see more of this from some fighters in years to come. But not every body is Floyd. I think Haye has enough haters to pull this off though. It's all about the haters, if you got enough of those or a lot of those, you'll be very successful at this age and time.

                      You're wrong.

Wlad is an ATG and still in his prime (2006 to present) and if Haye KOs him without resorting to dirty tactics like rabbit punching, he will deserve a LOT of credit.
