What's there to report about? That Floyd actually shelled out some cash for somebody other than his own family? Wow, that's news! Exactly, ever since Top Rank took control of Pacquiao's commercial interests and they hired the marketing pro, Manny has scored major endorsement deals with HP (the commercials are all over the place already), a produce company that will use his image in perpetuity for their products, and a bigger Nike deal. The ship has been righted and the result is a foreign fighter making bank like no one else in the American market.

Selective quoting? Really? Pacquiao lost a Gatorade ad and a spot on EA's cover. You have to ask yourself if Floyd was ever in discussion for either of those products (both American) and were these companies willing to endorse Mayweather.

You bring up the quote of Pac's North American portfolio which means absolutely nothing if you're comparing it to the bigger picture. The world is a huge place and even in the states Floyd Mayweather is not the face of Boxing.

Given the amount of attention Floyd and Pac receive, Manny by far has transcended the sport of Boxing into something Floyd Mayweather will never be able or have the opportunity to do- yes, even if he beats Manny. (And I believe he will beat Manny)
