Until they fight each other, the top spot is vacant IMO. There's nothing in it resume wise cause they've both faced a good level of opposition at one 140.

It would probably be close because the judges found it appropriate to give Judah a decision that obviously belonged to Matthysse. The probably is because I kind of expect Matthysse to beat Alexander. He's a pretty solid looking fighter from what I've seen, and Alexander is very predictable.

If Matthysse ends up beating Alexander, then Judah will hold wins over guys who have wins over two of Bradley's best three opponents (Matthysse-Alexander & Mabuza-Holt). However, you do have to take into account what shape those guys were in after Bradley beat them. Other than that, Khan is certainly a better win than Witter.

So, overall, contrary to everything I said above, I think it's hard to put Judah above Bradley, mostly because Bradley's wins were more highly regarded when he fought them than Judah's when he fought them.

Still though, very close. And not happening by the way... Judah sucks and has ****** ever since the Tszyu fight for the most part, but people just refuse to believe it and will not stop believing the myth that the focused Judah who can beat anyone actually exists, or can ever exist.

Khan attained that position when Bradley refused to fight him. A win over Judah would push him even further ahead. Bradley probably won't fight again until at least October maybe even preferring to cash out against Pacquiao next spring. Thus its hard to consider Bradley as a 140 contender at the moment. He's in no man's land facing a future on the sidelines. A beating at the hands of Pac could be career ending especially after a long period of inactivity.

This logic makes no sense,by your logic Khan should have moved down a slot or been strip of his beltwhen he fought Paulie M.instead of fighting Maidana..Bradley not fighting Khan at the moment can't move him out of his spot tbh..That can only happen due to inactivity or Khan beating Bradley..

Only bias Yanks had Alexander number 2.. i mean who had he beat? Urango good one.. He got messed up by Kotelnik and his only other win of note was Witter who retired injured and had already been defeated by Bradley and got a robbery over Kotelnik

Khan resume is very near or on par with Bradley.. he beats a good fighter like Judah who also holds a belt and has wins over Maythesse and Mabuza lately then he goes above Bradley it's simple. Bradley would have to fight a good fighter @ 140 to retain his spot.. and most are tied up atm.. apart from Maidana

Khan is fighting a unification bout, Bradleys sitting on the side lines and hasn’t fought since January.

I agree with the majority there resumes are already close a win against Judah bumps Khan up to no1.

Boxers have to take risks and Khan has showed he is willing to do so fighting two of the biggest threats to him in the division in his last three fights (I see Maidana and Judah as the biggest threats at 140lbs to Khan).
